Coming here as an individual

You are an international student and you want to register to obtain a degree from the University of Lille. You are registered for the first time in a higher education institution in France.

The application procedure to follow depends on several factors:

  • Your nationality,
  • Your country where you obtain your baccalaureate or diploma at the end of secondary studies
  • your country of residence of the year of training to which you wish to apply (to consult the complete offer of formation of the University of Lille )

Important: Except in some cases, you must have a French certification (DELF, TCF...)

  • Candidates of foreign nationality (outside the European Union) enrolling for the first time in French higher education

UNIVERSITY YEAR 2019-2020- Registration in first year of license


This mandatory procedure concerns foreign students outside the European Union, the European Economic Area or the Swiss Confederation seeking an initial registration in the first year of the license or a first year common to health studies (PACES).

It is based on 2 conditions:

  • Justify access to higher education in the country of origin for the desired training
  • Justify a level of understanding of the French language adapted to the training envisaged: this level is verified by a language test, the TCF-DAP

Application methods:

    Students residing in France (habitual residence) download a GREEN FILE on the MESRI website: http://www.enseignementsup-recherche.gouv.fr/cid24146/-dossier-vert-demande-d-admission-prealable-en -first-year-of-license.html and send it by post to the relay schooling concerned or the Office of international students (BAEI) for the degree programmes of Pont de Bois Campus.

Withdrawal of the file between the 3rd December to the 1st February 2019

    Students residing abroad constitute a WHITE FILE, either at the cultural department of the French Embassy of the country of residence, or for countries with "studies in France" procedure on the Campus France website, from a dedicated area to each country http://www.campusfrance.org.
