The University of Lille’s International Appeal
Strengthening our international appeal is a top priority. Doing so means attracting and retaining researchers, as well as attracting students. A unified approach to international relations is being carried out (one shared brochure, common representation in international fairs).
Strengthening the activities around the Euroregion and north-west Europe: the University of Lille must fully seize the opportunity it has of being at the heart of European scientific and academic excellence.
Focusing cooperation towards targeted and strategic partnerships: in conjunction with local authorities and ICC International, we are developing a coherent policy across the Lille Metropolitan Area.
Partnering for development: we are identifying partner universities and providing the expertise needed for creating new degrees as well as for research.
We will improve the experience of our 8 170 international students and numerous foreign researchers and teachers by setting up receptions on our campuses and suiting residence halls to their needs.
With a single + Erasmus Charter, we will be able to pool our exchange partnerships, in addition to the commitment of the three institutions to harmonize the amount and criteria for awarding Erasmus scholarships. Significant financial resources will be mobilized to encourage the mobility of students. Degrees entirely taught in English will be offered.
