Getting to university

The university’s various sites are easily accessible. Soft mobility, carpooling, choose your means of transport!

By public transport

The Lille metropolitan area is served by a public transport network managed by the company Ilevia. Metro, bus and tram services are available to help you get around. All you need is a Pass Pass card, on to which you can load your season or individual tickets.

All the university’s campuses are accessible using this public transport network.

By bike

Whether you use your own bike or the V’Lille self-service bike scheme, all campuses have bicycle parking facilities: see the map at the bottom of this page.

The metropolitan area has a network of cycle paths that is expanding rapidly: carto.droitauvelo.org

By train

There are several stations that are within walking distance of the campuses or accessible by public transport: Lille Europe, Lille Flandres, Lille CHR, Lille Porte de Douai, Pont de bois, Roubaix, Tourcoing. Mainline trains(reservation)and/or regional trains (‘TER’) serve these stations.

‘Mon Abo Etudiant TERHauts-de-France’ is a TER season ticket for higher education students and apprentices, and is valid between their place of residence (if located in Hauts-de-France) and their place of study (or work placement). The season ticket is downloaded onto a Pass Pass card.

By car

Think about carpooling! There are several sites that put carpoolers in touch with each other: passpasscovoiturage, Microstop, etc.

Car parks are available on most campuses. Park-and-ride facilities are also available near metro stations, bus hubs and TER stations.
