There are plenty of places on our campuses to eat out for lunch or even dinner or breakfast, or just to grab a coffee! The university has also introduced measures to combat food insecurity.
University catering
There are Crous (a public service organisation that provides services for students) catering outlets at most university sites. It offers various types of catering to suit all tastes and preferences. At the university restaurants, you can have a full meal: for example 1 main course + 2 ‘sides’ (starter, dessert or cheese of your choice) + 1 piece of fruit for only €1 for students with a grant and €3.30 for students without a grant. There are also cafeterias offering fast food: sandwiches, pasta, salads, snacks, etc.
Payment is made using Izly, the Crous payment system, via your phone or your student card.

Social areas
If you prefer to bring your own food or picnic, there are social areas right at the heart of the campuses: microwaves, picnic tables, etc. Some are run by student associations.
Fresh produce and solidarity grocery stores
To combat food insecurity, the university and its partners are offering:
- fruit and vegetable baskets made up of local, organic or sustainable produce at a reduced rate (2, 3 or 4 euros) for students in precarious situations and/or in receipt of a grant.
- social and solidarity grocery stores, which offer food and other products at up to 80% below market price.
