The University of Lille is responsible for the processing of personal data, in particular in relation to video protection.
Many University of Lille sites are under video surveillance to ensure the safety of people and property.

This section describes the data held about you by the university, the reasons why it is held and your rights concerning this information.
Images are collected by cameras located in areas requiring surveillance.
Images are collected to secure access and prevent incidents, and cameras are installed to film corridors, lobbies, points of access and routes of approach.
The data is stored on the university’s servers. They can be viewed live if there is a security PC. Otherwise, they are viewed by the site manager or the person appointed by the site manager in the event of a reported incident.
Images are stored for 1 month and then automatically destroyed.
You have the following rights:
- right to be informed;
- right of access;
- right to rectification;
- right to restrict processing;
- right to data portability;
- right to object if your data is used for other purposes for which there is no legal obligation.
If you do not receive a response to your request within a reasonable period of time, you may lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (CNIL) in accordance with Article 13 of the GDPR.
