Each student is required to pay the enrolment fee for the degree he or she is studying for, as well as the student and campus life contribution (contribution de vie étudiante et de campus; CVEC). In certain cases, students may be exempt from paying enrolment fees and/or the CVEC.
Student life and campus contribution (Contribution de vie étudiante et de campus; CVEC)
Since 2018, payment of a student and campus life contribution to finance the improvement of your living conditions on campus and help you succeed has been a legal requirement. With the exception of continuing education and HDR students, you must obtain your CVEC certificate before enrolling. In some cases, you may be exempt.
For 2025-2026, it will be €105.

Enrolment fees for these programmes are set jointly by the Ministry of Public Action and Accounts, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and the Ministry of Overseas France: seetheorder of 19 April2019.

The following are referred to as international students underarticles 3 to 6 of the order of 19 April 2019:
- Astudentwho is a national of one of the Member States of the European Union, of another State party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or of the Swiss Confederation
- A studentwho is the holder of a residence permit stating ‘Carte de séjour de membre de la famille d’un citoyen de l’Union/EEE/Suisse’ (residence permit for family members of EU/EEA/Swiss citizens)
- A student whois the holder of one of the resident cards provided for in 5° and 6° of Article L. 411-1 of the Code de l’Entrée et du Séjour des Etrangers et du Droit d’Asile (French Code on the Entry and Residence of Foreign Nationals and the Right of Asylum) or the holder of a document of the same type issued under an international agreement applicable to the French Republic or a minor under the age of eighteen and a direct or dependent descendant of the beneficiary of one of these cards;
- A student whois domiciled in France for tax purposes or linked to a tax household that has been domiciled in France for at least two years as at 1 January preceding the start of the academic year for which enrolment is requested;
- A student whois a beneficiary of refugee status or subsidiary protection or a person whose father, mother or legal guardian is a beneficiary of such status or protection;
- A student whois a national of a State which has concluded an international agreement applicable to the French Republic providing for the payment of registration fees identical to those applicable to French nationals or exempting nationals of that State from the obligation to hold a residence permit in France

How do I pay my enrolment fees?
When you enrol online:
- Secure online payment by credit card of the full amount or in 3 instalments.
Please note: payment can be made online in 3 instalments for all enrolments up to30/10/2025.
- Payment of the full amount (your student affairs and enrolment office/department will inform you of the exact process) by bank transfer (PDF, 534 KB)
Your enrolment will be finalised once payment has been made and your application has been validated by the student affairs and enrolment office/department. We invite you to pay online by credit card so that you can receive your enrolment certificate and student card as soon as possible.
